The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released the official notification for various post on 16 November ,2022. and online registration will be started from 26 November ,2022 on wards and will be closed on 17 December ,2022.The applications are advised to check their eligibility before applying as to avoid disappointment at a later stage.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1.Name of the Post: Sr. Consultant(Cardiology)
Education Qualification: DM/DNB in Cardiology from a University / Institute recognized by Medical Council of India / National Board of Examination / National Medical
Commission.( Age Limit -44 years).
2.Name of the Post: Sr. Consultant(Neurosurgery)
Education Qualification: Mch/DNB in Neurosurgery from a University / Institute recognized by Medical Council of India / National Board of Examination / National Medical Commission.( Age Limit-44 Years)
3.Name of the Post: Consultant (E3):
Education Qualification :
(i) PG Degree/DNB in General Medicine / General Surgery / Psychiatry /
Orthopaedics / ENT / Transfusion Medicine from a University /Institute
recognized by Medical Council of India / National Board of Examination /
National Medical Commission.
ii) For Transfusion Medicine: PG Degree / DNB in Pathology, should have
requisite post qualification experience / training exclusively in the department
of Immune-Haematology and Blood Transfusion or Transfusion Medicine.
iii) Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline
after PG Degree / DNB.
4.Sr. Medical Officer (E2) & Medical Officer (E1) :
Education Qualification: PG Degree/MBBS ( Age Limit-38 for E2 and 34 for E1.
5.Name of the Post : Manager (Hydraulics -Maintenance & Utilities) (E3) & Manager (Mechanical -Power Engineering Maintenance) (E3) & Manager (Mechanical -Bar & Rod Mill) (E3)
Education Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Full-time) in Mechanical discipline from Govt. recognized
University/Institution.
6.Name of the Post: Manager (Electrical – Bar & Rod Mill) (E3)
Education Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Full-time) in Electrical / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics /
Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication Engineering
discipline from Govt. recognized University/Institution.
7.Name of the Post: Dy. Manager (Mining) -Rowghat Mines (E2)
Education Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Full-time) in Mining Engineering discipline from Govt.
recognized University/Institution.
8. Name of the Post: Dy. Manager (Geology) – Rowghat Mines (E2)
Education Qualification : Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Science and Technology (M.Sc.
Tech.) in Geology discipline from Govt. recognized University/Institution.
9. Name of the Post :Asstt. Manager (BOE) (E1) & Asstt. Manager (Safety) (E1)
Education Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Full-time) in relevant branch from Govt. recognized University.
10.Mines Foreman (S3) & Mining Mate (S1) :
Education Qualification : Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Mining from Govt.
recognized Institute with valid Mines Foreman Certificate of Competency
from DGMS under MMR, 1961 (for Metalliferous Mines).
11.Name of the Post :Surveyor (S3) :
Education Qualification : Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Mining or Diploma in Mining & Mines’ Survey from a Govt. recognized Institute and possessing valid Mines Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR, 1961 (for Metalliferous Mines).
12.Operator cum Technician (Electrical Supervisor) (S3) & Operator cum Technician (Electrical Supervisor) (S3) :
Education Qualification : Matriculation with 03 years (full-time) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute.
13.Attendant cum Technician (Boiler Operation) (S1) & Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) & Attendant cum Technician (Trainee) – Heavy Vehicle Driver (HVD) (Mines) (S1) :
Education Qualification : Matriculation / ITI/ Boiler Attendant Certificate / Driving Licence .
14. Fireman cum Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) (S1) :
Education Qualification : Matriculation with valid Driving License for relevant Heavy Motor Vehicle.
Application Fee :
- For General/OBC/EWS candidates) : Rs.700 for (E1 or above ) , Rs.500 for (S3) ,Rs.300 for (S1)
- (for SC/ST/PWD/ESM/Departmental candidates) : Rs.200 for (E1 or above ) , Rs.150 for (S3) ,Rs.100 for (S1)

Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through SAIL’s website www.sail.co.in at the link “Careers” with url as http://sailcareers.com. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates may click at the link of the post applying for and submit information online in the appropriate
fields.
- Before registering their application on the website the candidates should note and ensure the following:
a) Candidates are advised to read instructions carefully for online submission of application, which will be available in the website itself.
b)Candidates applying for the post should ensure that, they fulfill all the eligibility conditions/criteria as per the advertisement. Their admission at all stages will be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions/criteria, which will be verified at the time of Interview / Skill Test/Physical Ability Test/Driving Test, Pre Employment Medical Examination & Joining. However, if on verification at any stage of the selection process, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions/criteria, their candidature to the post will be cancelled forthwith.
c) Valid e-mail ID & Mobile Number, which should remain valid till completion of the entire selection process.
d) Candidates should have latest passport size colour photograph in .jpg or .jpeg file only of size upto 50 kb (taken against a white background and candidate must ensure that they are not wearing sun goggles, dark glasses etc.) as well as photograph of signature in .jpg or .jpeg file only of size upto 20 kb (running signature and not individual alphabet) in digital format for uploading with the application form. Same photograph should be affixed for the entire selection process whenever required. (Photos taken through mobile/selfie
mode will not be accepted and application will be rejected).
e) Candidate must write his / her name as it appears in the Matriculation certificate or equivalent examination.Mere issue of Admit Card for CBT OR call letter for Interview / Skill Test / Physical Ability Test / Driving Test or Offer of Appointment (issued prior to pre employment medical examination) will not imply acceptance of candidature. Candidature of a registered candidate is liable to be rejected / cancelled at any stage of recruitment
process, even on joining or thereafter, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility conditions / criteria at any stage or if candidate fails to produce valid documentary proof in support of his / her eligibility or if candidate found unfit in the pre-employment medical examination. SAIL, BSP reserves the right to reject the applications and no communication in this regard will be made with the applicant. - Submission of online application/ registration process involves following steps:
