The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET application form 2022 in online mode on the official website ctet.nic.in.The CTET DEC 2022 Registration link is available on the official website – ctet.nic.in.To apply for the CTET 2022 Entrance Exams students can visit the official website and enter the required details in the registration link.The online application-process will be start from 31-10-2022 (Monday) onwards and the last date for submitting online application is 24-11-2022 (Thursday) upto 23:59 hrs. The fee can be paid upto 25-11-2022 (Friday) before 15:30 hrs.

Eligibility Criteria :

For Paper I

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education). OR
  • Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)obtained from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in class I to V, provided the person so appointed as teacher will have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in
  • Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.
  • However, a candidate *fro is pursuing and having Admit Card of final year examination of any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCl, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Guideline dated 11th February,2O11, may also apply for TET. However he/she can apply for appointment only after acquiring all the required qualification.

For Paper II

  • Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation and B. Ed. OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A./8. Sc. Ed. Or B.A.Ed/B. Sc. Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B. Ed.(Special Education).

Note: Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who
had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or
equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.
b) However, a person who is pursuing and having Admit Card of final year Examination of any of the
teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCl, as the case may be) specified in
the NCTE Guideline dated 11th February,2011, may also apply for TET. However he/she can apply
for appointment only after acquiring all the required qualification.

Relaxation :

  • Relaxation up to 5 % in the academic marks in HSSLC or Graduation shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) to appear in TET (The degree of handicap in case of PH candidates should be minimum 40% and to be certified by the competent authority) both for Paper-l (LP Level) and Paper-ll (UP Level) .
  • For Paper-l (LP Level) relaxation up to 5 % in HSSLC marks shall be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 2-Year D.El.Ed before 3110812009 as per NCTE Notification No. F.51-1/2009-NCTE (N&S) dated 3l”tAugust 2009 and qualified 2-Year D.El.Ed subsequently.
  • C. For Paper-ll (UP Level) relaxation up to 5 % in Graduation marks shall be applicable for candidates who were admitted in 1-Year B.Ed. before 3110812009 as per NCTE Notification No.F.51-1IIOO}-NCTE (N&S) dated 3l”tAugust 2009 and qualified 1-Year B.Ed. subsequently.

How to Apply :

A candidate can apply for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test On-line by logging on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in only.The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city of examination or cancel the transaction. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his /her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case.

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in.
STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 4: Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking. The candidates must note
that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis
only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete
the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted
the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity
in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is
full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or
updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any

STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF CTET :

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking.
There will be two papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
