The Assam Police, Jorhat has released the official notification for the post of Data Entry Operator on 30th November ,2022.Applications from candidate will be Accepted through offline mode only. No other mode for submission of application is allowed .Interested eligible candidates from the jurisdiction of Jorhat District are hereby invited to submit application for the post of “Data entry Operator ” under CCTNS & ICIS Project of Assam Police.
Education Qualification :
- 12th Pas with Degree / Diploma in Computer application from any reputed institute / organisation recognised by AICTE, Govt. Of Assam.
- Proficiency of Typing in Assamese and English.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minutes in Assamese & English on Computer.
Prefrence will be given to :-

How to Apply:
- The candidate should submit his/her BIO-DATA in STANDARD FORM of Application published in the Assam Gazette Part-X along with original certificates/documents relating to qualification. experience, age, identity proof with two passport size coloured photographs and a set of self attested copies of the same.
- Offline applications will be received with effect from 2nd December, 2022. The last date for receipt of applications will be 16 December, 2022.
- Offline application will be received at Office of the Superintendent of Police, Jorhat.
Age Limit:-
Age limit as on 01.01.2022 should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 40 yrs.
Period of Engagement:
- The selected candidates will be initially engaged for one year as DEO.
- The performance appraisal of the DEO will be reviewed time to time subject to the performance report by the competent authority of CID, Assam.
Syllabus:-
The candidates for the above mentioned post will be selected on the basis of written test which may be online or offline containing multiple choice questions. The questions for the test shall be on
- Basic Computer Skills/Appetite
- General Knowledge (GK),
Total 60 Marks. As well as typing test and viva-voice will attend after qualifying the written test.
