The Assam Agricultural University has released the official notification for the post of Technical Officer, Junior Administrative Assistant ,Laboratory Assistant-III, Field Assistant-III and Tractor Driver from the permanent resident of Assam on 18 November ,2022. and online registration will be started from 21/11/2022 on wards and will be closed on 23 December ,20022.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

1.Name of the Post: Technical Officer

No. of Post: 01 ( One )

Essential Qualification: Post graduation in Agro-meteorology /Meteorology/Agronomy/Agricultural Physics with Knowledge in Computer Application.

Desirable : Experience In Agro -met Advisory Services,Crop Weather Modeling ,data Analysis and related areas

Initial Pay: Rs.57,700/- Per Month

2.Name of the Post: Junior Administrative Assistant :

No. of Post: 01( One)

Reservation: PWD

Initial Pay: Rs.14000/- to 49000 and G.P:8,700

Essential Qualification: The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be a Bachelor Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce of a Govt . recognized University.

Desirable: Diploma /Certificate in Computer Application.

3. Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant Gr.III

5. Tractor Driver:

Initial Pay: Rs.14,000 to Rs.49,000 And G.P:-5,200

Essential Qualification:

1. HSLC or Its equivalent Examination Pass.
2. Valid Tractor driving License.
3. NE Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute (FMTTI) certificate of Training.
4. Five years working experince in R & D organisation.

Desirable Qualification: 1. Handling and operation of Tractor drawn cultivator , seed drill , rotavator, multi crop thresher , subsoiler, disc,plough, transplanter.

Age Limit:

The Minimum age of the candidates as shall be 18 years and maximum age limit shall be 40 years as on 01-01-2022.

The Fees shall have to be deposited by way of online payment through payment gateway provided in the portal .

Mode of Selection:

• For the post of Technical Officer the eligible candidates shall have to appear in a walk in interview.
• The eligible candidates for the posts of Jr. Administrative Assistant, Laboratory Assistant-III and Field Assistant-III shall have to appear in a written examination.
• The eligible candidates for the post of Tractor Driver shall have to Appear in driving skill test.
